Do I need to use a cleanser first?
Yes. The exfoliant should be used on clean, completely dry skin. Use your usual gentle cleanser beforehand (any brand is fine), pat dry, and then apply the exfoliant.
The product doesn't form pearls when I use it
If the gel pearls aren’t forming, your skin is likely still damp. The exfoliant needs to be used on completely dry skin, as water stops the gel from bonding with dead skin cells.
The gel pearls are getting stuck in my peach fuzz
This can sometimes happen when you first use a peeling gel exfoliants and the issue usually resolves on its own!
Here’s how to prevent it:
1) Work in sections (e.g. cheeks, forehead, chin)
2) Rinse or wipe off before it dries out.
3) Use a warm, damp and soft cloth to gently wipe away the product.
Is it really my dead skin coming off?
